The seasons of the year constantly repeat themselves over and over again, yet each year the seasons are different in many ways. So also in the arena of faith, the process of faith, renewal and growth is a constant process to be repeated through the many cycles of spiritual growth on to spiritual maturity.
This process however does not only involve your own growth. Faith truly understood goes far beyond the narrow confines of your needs and desires. I remember seeing a squirrel wrestling and grappling with a piece of field corn that I had placed in the yard for him to eat. The problem was that the corn was far too heavy for him to carry off alone so after wrestling with the corn for some time, he found that he just wasn’t able to carry that corn home. In trying to keep the corn within the narrow confines of his needs, he found that the corn was just too much of a burden to carry. Some things rightly understood are meant to be shared.
True wisdom is to be shared. Take the time now to become personally involved in someone else’s growth and development. Live your faith story and allow others to read it as it is displayed through the pages of your life. As you so walk, grace will begin to flow through you to others. Accept now the challenge of being personally involved in someone’s spiritual development. It is in so doing that you take your place in the symphony of enlightenment that is emerging around you.
Blessings to you as you now so live.
