The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Taken from the Psalms of David; Psalm Nineteen verse One
The universe is filled with awesome displays of God’s power. The vast expanse of the universe has yet to be fully charted and much less fully understood. The nightly display of the heavens is but a portion of God’s power. To hold all the celestial bodies in orbit, to have created all that is with but a word is beyond the comprehension of our greatest of minds.
The true wonderment of God is in the fact that he was not content to merely display his power as a portrait the spans the heavens but rather that he also wants to enter into your world with an example of his power and might on a level of your most primal needs and fears. The resurrection which we celebrate with Easter Lilies is one of God’s grandest displays of power. Just as the seeds for that lily were first planted, so also was the Savior planted in the bosom of death after the crucifixion, only to be raised to life by the power of God.
Being open to this same power is at the heart of your next step on your journey. Rather than watching the nightly display of God’s majesty as sketched out across the heavens, the time has come to personally experience this power within your own life experience.
Throughout creation there are examples of God’s handiwork and it is the pleasure of God to have planted clues throughout his world to express just what it means to walk the spiritual path. Just as plants grow naturally to the light from out of the dark places where they were initially planted; so also are you now challenged to grow to the light of God in your life as you now see and experience that light. Follow the light within as it leads you to the next step on your journey.
There are things that you feel now you must do in order to be true to the light within. Begin now to prune the people, places and things of your life as you experience your resurrection within. In matters of the spirit, it is in dying to the lesser that you are able to rise to that which is most grand within you. Do this as you experience the dawn of your new life.
