For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, you Father will not forgive your sins.
Taken from the book of Matthew Chapter 6 verses 14 & 15
Having extended forgiveness to those who have wronged you and having worked to be reconciled to those you have offended places you in a uniquely enlightened moment. Your spirit having been bound is now beginning to be free to soar to new and unexplored places.
Enter now the arena of honest self examination reflecting on the paths that you have taken, the relationships that you have entered into and the road that you are currently traveling. It is impossible to draw near to the divine unless you are aware of your need for the divine. That being so, the first steps of growth within your faith involves the process of inner review and honest reflection. The extent to which you are willing to explore these places is the very extent to which your faith will be meaningful to you.
Far beyond the people that you have forgiven and been reconciled to lies the motives and needs within you that have crafted for you the nature of your dealings with them. It is here that you will uncover the unmet needs within that you have tried to resolve through the people that have entered and ultimately exited your life.
These are the very needs that have to be placed upon your private altar to be examined and ultimately placed in the caring hands of a loving God. This is the pathway to true spirituality that is to be found as you uncover your broken places and missing pieces. It is these broken pieces that will become the mosaic of growth that only you can craft.
As your spirit speaks, listen and then get on paper somewhere the broken areas within your spirit that now stand in need of healing.
